UAB ENO EXTRACTUM specializes in the production of CO2 extracts and sale of subcritical CO2 extraction equipment. The objective of the company is to provide the customer with high quality pure product, while implementing environment-friendly manufacturing processes and procedures. CO2 extracts are a great raw material for cosmetic products, food supplements, aromatic products etc. Attention is paid to the gathering of initial botanical raw materials in order to achieve the largest possible amount of its valuable components in the while maintaining the highest quality product for the customer. We concentrate on the most suitable parameters of the production which allow us to produce the required composition of the product. All of our products undergo strict quality control processes. The CO2 extraction process

 When critical temperature and pressure are reached, gas changes its physical state and turns into supercritical fluid. In this state, CO2 gas has features of a very good solvent and as a non-polar solvent it easily dissolves non-polar substances. Using supercritical fluid extraction, botanical extracts can be made without losing valuable components as aromatic compounds, biologically active ingredients and pigments. Notably you can avoid extraneous products, which is usually hard to avoid while using other common methods of extraction.
Our CO2 method guarantees purity, cleanliness, quality and is enviromental-friendly - CO2 is inert, non-toxic, and regenerative solvent. This technology is suitable for extracting products that are volatile, sensitive to heat, oxidation, or other toxic solvents which may result in the presence of extraneous compounds. Controlling the parameters of the extraction process allows us to get the desirable composition of the final product.

 Presently our operating parameters for the process are lower than the critical point, thus subcritical CO2 extraction is being performed. In this condition, CO2 liquid is suitable for the extracting of valuable compounds from botanical materials. This process is slower and has a lower yield compared to supercritical CO2 extraction, however, it is very suitable for selective extraction: for essential oils, terpens and other volatile chemical ingredients of plant material.
